Ring of the Fey Lord (DM:Atanatotatos, Judge:Lord Sessadore)Up:Lorik, etc.

"Oh, what a surprise," Haruka mutters dryly as she advances towards the fey. "Another group of- eep!" her tirade ends prematurely with a surprised squeak as Ironheart lifts her off the ground. Before she can process what has happened, she is dumped unceremoniously on the ground. She stares up at Ironheart for a moment, confusion and rage playing across her face, but then rolls over to tend to their assailants. She smiles, whispers inaudibly, and a tongue of red flame darts from her fingertips towards the nearest Eladrin.

[sblock=Actions]Move: Move to AC15.
Interrupted: Be abducted to T13.
Minor: Curse Sword 20.
Standard: Hellish Rebuke Sword 20. Hits Reflex 19 for 9 fire damage and 6 untyped. If I take damage before the end of my next turn, that's an additional 10 fire damage.

I assume I'm prone (the penalty is included in the roll) and while I think the conditions for Shadow Walk have technically been met, I'll totally understand if you don't think that counts. Sort of hope it doesn't, since between prone, cover, and concealment, it seems the most likely way the secondary damage will be triggered is by Ironheart stepping on my head. That is not an invitation.[/sblock]

“Time for the Rad-Machine to pump into overdrive!”

While Rhole’s words make no sense to you, the effect immediately becomes apparent, as soon as his fingers strike the goatee-strings of his instrument. A feverish amplified riff makes Ironheart, Haruka, and Derien nod their heads and all but clap their hands, stirred with vigor for the battle to come.

Rhole joins his allies at the front, skipping one-legged while jamming on the Great Ultra Intense Thundering Audio Ripper.

"We've killed a dozen fools already; why be among them?" Derien darts forward, inhales, and fires, the arrow flies through the air, piercing the surprised fey's right shoulder and drawing blood from the wound.

Ironheart looks at the arrayed opponents, eyes narrowing in their deep-set hollows. He studies the trees that grant cover, turns to look appraisingly at his allies, and turns back to measure the distance to the opponents. He lets out a low hiss.

Suddenly he turns, takes two huge steps towards Haruka, and lifts her from the ground with one branch-like limb. Dangling her above his head, he lopes towards the enemy, covering the ground with his huge strides. As he gains momentum he thunders faster and faster - and suddenly stops, just inside the range of Haruka's attack. He unfolds his fingers and drops her sprawling on the ground, in the middle of the open field. Elven arrows track the two of them as they stand outlined. "There you go," he smiles at her. "You should be able to hit them now."

"And don't worry," he continues mockingly. "I won't leave you unprotected in the middle of the open like this." As he speaks, vines and saplings erupt from the ground all around them, twining around his legs and growing up into a cage around Haruka. The new thickets branches entwine in twisted, grotesque shapes, but they form a solid defensive wall, and obligingly bend out of the way whenever Haruka aims through them.

Ikni unlimbers and hurls a javelin at the nearest swordsman, but the range is extreme, and her cast falls short. Grimly she draws her sword.

The swordsmen look at each other and then call out "You wish a challenge? Come fight us!" to Haruka and Ironheart, who after so many battles against the capricious fey are getting sick of these games, as the right eladrin moves behind a rock and the other stands defensively.

The bow wielder points her hand at the group and a blast of pure sound that interrupts Rhole's music for a moment slams him and Ironheart to the ground, leaving the gnome's ears ringing.

The winged female takes off from her position in the trees and circles to the far side of the battlefield, alighting upon the rocky outcropping there.

Ikni, cursing herself for succumbing to the temptation to use a ranged weapon, moves forward, staying balanced and alert.

[sblock=ooc]double move to Q8.[/sblock]

The swordsmen are known as Fey Knights. They grant their fellow fey the ability to strike a critical blow more easily (19-20) while they are close to them. They, like all eladrin, are strong against charm effects (+5 saving throws) and can teleport. They can entangle foes with their blades, although once they do so, they cannot attack with their swords. They can also protect their allies from damage, absorbing some of it themselves.

The archer is a total mystery to you

The female is known as a hooked claw harpy. She can draw people to her with an alluring song, although her voice can also be used to unleash a deadly blast of thunder! Her claws are also quite sharp. She is resistant to the clash of thunder herself.[/sblock]

Could that potentially also be exploited by Rhole and Derien?

Sounds like a priority for Ikni to handle (no Booming Blade, though).
