D&D Movie/TV D&D: Honor Among Thieves Open Discussion [Full Spoilers]

Maybe they could use that idea but with a different group, and something style "Urban Arcana". The group returns to home, but they aren't alone, they are people and creatures from the fantasy realm at home also. It would be isekai and reverse isekai. And the heroes have to keep the balance between both worlds. And there are also "planar refugess" from Gamma World, with advanced tech, but also new challenges... and misteries to be uncovered.

A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
I know the attunement thing with “Elminster” was all about Simon overcoming his self-doubt, but wouldn’t it have been interesting if he’d had to face Mordenkainen since it’s Mordenkainen’s helmet?

Who would you like to see play the bald, goateed archmage?
Anton Lavey, if he was still alive. Besides his look being a great fit, it would be subtle easter egg for the satanic panic of the 1980s.

Was it in fact Mordenkainen's helmet? The only reference to Big M that I recall was the spell guarding the treasury.

Or is the assumption that "Helmet of Disjunction" means "Mordenkainen's Disjunction"?

I'm pretty sure it was never linked to Mordenkainen.

Anyone else surprised that Forge didn't get a repdemption arc?
And the movie does INDEED give you a fake out in that regard: the one line when he's talking to Bug, after seeing Ed and Holga again after so many years, where he mentions that he thinks there might be "some" good in himself. Which DID had me thinking that later on, Forge would somehow follow up on that. And then the movie shows that no, Forge IS an absolute d-edited for concerns for the well-being of the children as per ToS guidelines. The Committe thanks you, dear reader, for reading up to this point.

Edgin in the movie was more like a Rogue in all honesty. A Rogue with the Entertainer/Spy background with a proficiency in Performance. And A LOT of his attacks with the Lute were ones that SUDDENLY came outta nowhere when an opponent was either occupied with somebody else or when everybody ganged up on the Red Wizard chick.

Hmmmmm, verrrry SNEAKY those Lute hits were.

Also, that lute CAN'T be a normal lute.
