Koregar brings his axe into the creature igniting its fluids!

The creature is vulnerable to fire!

It's also now hasted! And burning!

Like a constant stream of exhaling gas, the creature almost sounds like it's in a never-ending scream.

It swings at Koregar twice hitting both times for 15 damage and then 15 more.

OOC: Doesn't look like your HP was updated to second level, but it would have been more than 15 and less than 30, so Koregar gets dropped, though not killed outright.

The monster takes 12 fire damage at the end of its turn.

"Durned metal buckethead," Koregar coughed, feeling his vision darken, "I'm comin', Gerta..."

With that, he passed out on the floor.

Whisper mentally cursed when the dwarf dropped. Whether she was upset that the group's melee combatant had gone down or if it was because it meant she was left with the drow was anyone's guess. Fortunately, the dwarf had managed to light the thing on fire, allowing her to see it relatively clearly. Moving out from the corner, she backed up into the room, measuring her distance carefully. Pulling out another arrow, she fired at the creature and then shifted back even further, using the cover of darkness to conceal herself.

OOC: Based on my last post, I think I would have been at AL44, so... Move: 15' to AI41, then 10' to AK39 Action: Attack - [roll0], Damage - [roll1] + [roll2] Bonus Action: Cunning Action to stealth away from where she attacked - [roll3]

Whisper fires, hits, backs away and hides in the darkness... but the creature still reacts by moving closer into the room.

Koregar takes 3 fire damage from the burning oil trail the creature leaves behind (I think that just counts as a failed death save?).

The screaming gas coming from the creature is not unlike a tea-kettle gone way way too hot.

Naeris moves to stand next to his companion. He begins a familiar mumbling and flicks his wrist conjuring up a "retarded gorilla"in the opposite end of the room."can you tend to our companion?" Naeris whispered into whispers ear.

Naeris moves and the thing moves over to the cutting table and double overhand arm smashes it. Fool me once.

Whisper shrugged. I guess healing someone involves the same skills as killing them, just administered in a reverse order... she thought to herself as she scampered over to Koregar's prone form. He was pretty badly smashed and burned. Maybe he'd live?

OOC: Oh wait, I forgot halfling luck! Wisdom (Medicine) - [roll0] From the jaws of defeat!

At first, Whisper quietly clapped her hands together and tried rubbing the dwarf's face. When that clearly didn't do anything, she gave him a sharp thwack of the chest and was rewarded with the sudden intake of breath. Koregar stopped dying.
