OOC: That's what I thought. I'm going to go up north, then, to the intersection. If something's pulling nails out, then I want to be somewhere I've been before we start fighting again.

OOC: Let's see, the room to the north had those carved heads on it, right? Probably don't want to mess with that yet. I think I remember another room off the northern passage?

"Not that one," the halfling rasped, pointing to the door to the left on the far side of the hallway. "Probably trapped."

Another round. A faint scratching and thud is heard in the distance from the direction of the room.

"OK, what if we use the elf's technique and try to lure it down the stairs that lead to that underwater lake using magic lights. Maybe the big plant in there will take care of it for us? I'll lead it down there and you move in behind after it's headed down." Whisper suggested.

With the idea in her mind, Whisper conjured a single light about 10' to the west of the t-intersection from which she expected the creature to appear.

OOC: Basically, Whisper sets up the light at BC41 and positions herself at AT40. Koregar sets up at the corner of AP25. Whisper will use a bonus action each round to move the lights up to 60', trying to lure the creature down the stairs into the lake area below. Hopefully, something down there will eat it. If not, she'll try to flee past it back up the stairs and find a different option.

OOC: Just realized we're not sure if there is a big plant in there, but I think we suspected something was in the center of the pond, based on all the tentacles. I figure, if it balks about getting in the water, maybe Koregar can give it a push...

Something lumbers out of the room eventually after bashing its way through. It stalks the halls, it's huge claws scraping against the ground and wall at times. At the corner it turns right and left, taking in a deep breath. After another round it turns and starts to lumber towards the west.

OOC: Bonus Action: Move the light to AS37 Movement and Dash: Whisper moves to BA37 I hope this thing isn't blind and tracking us by scent...

Whisper shivers as she sees the massive creature come into the intersection. She mentally moves the light into her own corridor and dashes towards the stairs. In the back of her mind, she hopes that Koregar intends to follow the plan.
