Mewness, if we decide to try Build the Shelter, can we have more than one person able to Aid Another? I mean, it makes sense to have at least 2 people able to give +2's for this task, because it is a pretty significant, work-intensive task.

Hú Lí steps forward, putting her flute away and stepping around the potential building materials. "We shall use this!" she says, pointing at a stout timber, "The branch is long and straight!" she taps on her drum for emphasis. "We shall use this!" she says, pointing at a coiled liana, "The vines are strong and supple!" *tap* "And we shall use this!" she points at a small pile of boulders, "The stones are firm and heavy!" *tap* "Thus shall we have what we need for building!" *tap* *tap*
[sblock=roll]Nature check to aid (with heroic effort): 4(1d20) +8 = 12[/sblock]
If you're talking about the DC 19 Athletics check for 'Build Shelter', you should actually aid either me or Noriaki, because we are tied with the highest athletics (+8). But if you wanted to roll the actual Athletics check yourself, in order to have Castile spearhead the preparation of the shelter, then just tell me and I will roll for Taka to aid her.
Castile begins gathering the objects that Hú Lí points out into a pile. While lifting a particularly heavy boulder, she strains to say "It's nice to have... so many materials." She drops the rock onto the ground with a loud thud. "Not that I have any idea how to put it together..."
OOC:
Ok, I'll aid then. 5/13 surges remain.
It's not as if Castile has ever needed to build a shelter in downtown Daunton before.
I am going to wait to see if Pentius will attempt to aid me. As of right now, I have +8 to athletics, +2 from my heroic effort I will use, +2 from Castile, and +2 from Hu Li, so I can roll a 5 and up and still pass the check (I think I did my math right...). However, an extra +2 would put me at ease!
To make up for his Blunder Kane works hard at making amends with his magic tricks, putting the shelter back together and repairing the damage he has caused. He does so in silence, his usual toothy grin disappeared.
OOC:
Spending an action point to Aid with Arcana; if a 1 isn't a fail its an auto success, so +2 GROMkill. If a roll is necessary then maybe we can just use the roll I made earlier?
