My first thought as well. Farscape had some truly wacky episodes, and this looks to be in the same vein. There are only a few shows on right now that I think could do this well, and Angel is one of them. I'm definitely willing to bet next week's episode is at least entertaining.

And good call on Connor Datt. Angst is sure to be a-coming.

I liked the episode. I didn't have a problem with the vampire's evil plans, since as I understood it, he never planned to kill anyone. He intended for Angel to kill him.
