By the way, please, as you sign up for the game and choose a character, indicate whether you have read The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

4) DR. HENRY JEKYLL (Paranormal Adept)

Dibs on the Dr. Henry Jekyll! I have read the series, but its been a while so I'll have to dig 'em up and re-read 'em :)

Re: d20 Modern: LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN

Wulf, I'd love to get in on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I'd like to play Allan Quartermain. H. Rider Haggard is the man. I'm afraid I haven't gotten around to reading The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but I'll go out and find a copy of the tpb if its necessary to appreciate the game.

Kip and Morrow--

You're all set!

Kip-- Start polishing up on your split personality now! And by all means find yourself some interesting expletives!

Morrow, it is definitely worth reading beforehand! I think it will increase your enjoyment and probably give you a nice angle on your character, which is always welcome in my book.

I just purchased the soft-bound graphic novel from Amazon for about $14, it is worth every penny.

Two down, three to go... those of you who have read the series know that there are NO uninteresting characters here! They are all bloody cool!

And may I just say, something tells me it's not Henry Jekyll you're looking forward to...

Capt. Nemo.

Haven't read the series, but I am playing a tinker gnome alchemist in my D&D game right now, so Nemo shouldn't be too much of a stretch... :D.

(Still working on a plan to contaminate all egg salad in the greater Boston area though! ;))

Done, Conaill. You'll enjoy Nemo. Although he spends a lot of time in the comic series as pretty much the "Driver" he has some interesting gadgets to fall back on. And the best Wealth/Gadget bonus of the group. So he'll be interesting to play.

All slots are now held until I hear from Davelozzi and JoeCrow-- whichever one of them speaks up first gets his choice of Griffin (the Invisible Man)or our as-yet-unidentified American hero-- who, if you look at the list, will probably be a Fast Hero of some kind.

And I will make room for one more female player for Mina Murray should one come along...

I'll take Griffin then. I haven't read the series but I'll try to get the graphic novel and read it before the game.
