Midas guy- unsure if he makes things into gold or into anything he wants....

illusions- Company bioatch
mental commands- forget her name also

What's "deconstructionist"? You mean the melty power the one guy had?

Super-hearing - female mechanic
Electrical Generation - unknown person Peter encountered
Dream Facilitation/Manipulation - the boy in India

Sylar's power is about taking things apart and understanding, which he uses to gain powers. Not really absorbing in the way Peter does, imo.

Fyi Micah and Linderman

I have some theories on this-

Claire's powers "stalled" when her brain was punctured (Peter's also) and the Haitian "turned off" powers. This suggested to me the powers were psionic or mental in origin.

Assuming powers are mental, then how we percieve these powers will dictate possibly how they work. Nikki always assumed Jessica had the strength. As such she "never" had enhanced strength until she felt she had control of Jessica.

For Peter and Sylar.... What IF..... Sylar and Peter both have the exact same power BUT Sylar has a "mental crutch" with his. He thinks one must consume the power (the brain) to absorb their powers. Maybe he can just by proxemity like Peter but doesn't know it or understand it.

just one of many thoughts......

I confused the mechaniac and the guy.... my bad. I did forget about the boy in India. I am sooooo bad at spelling......

AAARG...too...many...brain cells...wasted...on...HEROES!

The melty-power -> Zane Taylor.
Toxin-babe -> Maja
Precognition -> Isaac Mendez (come on...you HAVE to remember Hiro yelling "Mr Eesaak!")
Images/company biatch -> Candace
Thought Control -> Eden
Atomic Bomb -> Ted Sprague

Some others you missed:

Photographic Memory ->Charlie (the waitress)
Fire control ->Claire's Biological mother (don't remember her real name, so there's hope for me yet!)
Antitoxin(?) ->Alejandro (maja's brother)
Satellite Uplink/Netrunning -> Wireless/Hannah Gettlemen
Ice control ->Some nameless schmuck that Sylar ate.

And I think you're right on with your assessemnt of Sylar/Peter's powers...I think they're essentially the same thing, just interpereted differently. "Knowing how things work" is pretty much the same thing as "empathy", just filtered through a manipulative, predatory lens.
