Yeah so uh, that elf guy and his friends are like, fighting demons or something coming out of the trees? Something about the, uh, Mytol, failing? It's really bad out there.
The demons? Oh it was easy, I just outran them, I have good boots.
So anyway, he's uh, kinda busy, I guess. So he sent a reply... uh... here it is.
"To Imani, High mage of Hap
From Malbung Ikrum, the Bronze Blade
I have received your summon and while I concur with you that the situation is grave, there are dire events unraveling in Myth Dranor that require my attention. If we fail, you will doubtlessly hear of it. I am not at liberty to say, but pack your bags, just in case. As soon as this mess can be contained, I will render you assistance.
In the meantime, I recommend that you summon Kalorn, an Eldritch Knight, currently located in Archenbridge. He owes me a favor, and you probably would be able to convince him to work for you anyway. While he is a dark and bitter man, he directs his anger outwards to those who would oppress and destroy and can be useful if you point him in the right direction - I am sure he would relish the opportunity to thwart the Cult of the Dragon. His mastery of sword and blade is sound and he is a fierce combatant. He has military experience as well and some woodcraft - although he is no ranger. I trust that he will do in my stead.
Best of luck
P.S. It would be best if you pretended you didn't notice the limp.
P.P.S. This messenger you sent... he's not very clever, but he somehow managed to find me, evade the wards around Myth Dranor and sneaked past the rampaging fiends *and* our picket line. You should keep him around.
P.P.P.S. doubtlessly you have heard by now the scandal concerning Lorenn. Please pay it no mind. The lad's heart is in the right place, and there is a human expression about eladrins and sticks and posteriors... I forget how it goes exactly, but it applies to this situation."
