Hit Dice: 1D8+1 = [6]+1 = 7


4 HD used to max out.

Wait, wasn't it a greatsword? Both the text and damage said so... post # 327.

Edit: while I'm happy to get a giant slayer weapon, if it's not a 2 handed one it doesn't fit with Kalorn's fighting style.
