I copied it straight from the form in the book. He's a shadow, so what makes sense there. Physical and (most) energy attacks (light excepted).

Hmmm...looking at the other heroes, I notice they have lower Ability stats. Did I do something wrong in my build? Just curious, not having used the system before.

There's no wrong or right...just different focus of points.

The general spread of ability points goes from 0 (average human) to 5 (peak of normal human ability).

But as a superhuman, you have freedom to ignore that and buy whatever you can afford.

When building my character, I stayed within the 0 to 5 limit, because Keiko is fairly normal except for her psychic powers. That was just a choice I made though.

Thought 7 was peak human. But yeah, he isn't supposed to be superhuman other than his powers. Tried a bit of the Crime Fighter from the book with powers instead of gear.

For one pp, you can choose one of these:

IMMUNITY
1 rank: aging, disease, poison, one environmental condition (cold, heat, high pressure, radiation, or vacuum), one type of suffocation (breathe normally underwater or in an alien atmosphere, for example), starvation and thirst, need for sleep, or a rare power descriptor (such as your own powers, a close sibling’s powers, etc.).

Yea abilities are kind of weird. Basically above 7 is suppose to be super-human EXCEPT for Strength, which is 4. Its a weird reflection of the doubling modifiers and one of the few things that really bothers me about 3rd ed. I just wish they would have evened it out a bit more OR just made anything above a 4 or a 5 super-human.

Hero: The Shadow
Identity (Secret): Caleb Thomas Black

He looks great. Yes the way Shadow Alternative Form is written in the book it does not really say what the Immunity is for or how many ranks you should take. For a Shadow Form I would probably go with Environmental Condition - Cold. That would probably fit.

OK cool we have 4 players and that is good enough for me. Once we get the characters all fleshed out and approved I will start the game.

The world I play in/semi-created is a crazy mix of Freedom City (Mutants & Masterminds), Champions Universe (Champions/Hero) along with some Century Station (Palladium) and the rest just built up over the years of various supers games I have run.

Right now the idea is that I am going to run something called the "Terminus Incident", which is going to be somewhat short and too the point. Your characters probably have not meet each other before it, but if you have been active in the city doing "super" stuff you might know a little about each other.

If it goes well we will continue on to the main Adventure ("Menace Out of Time!")
