Hú Lí's playing trails off as she is fascinated by the witch's strange spell. For half a second she stops, then she begins again, sounding even more eerie than usual. The playing sounds particularly insistent to Takahaan, but it's only a momentary distraction.

The Kovack-creature lunges again at Castile, but Kane’s magic interferes with its movement, and it gets a mouthful of Castile’s shield. The tattooed creature steps back from Takahaan, her compelling gaze once again sweeping over her attackers. This time it is Kane who finds his head filled with horrible visions. He rushes Noriaki, delivering a glancing blow with his sword--one, however, that causes Arashi Tenken to stir.

OOC: I'm going to hold off Kane's turn until I see if Noriaki and Castile can dispatch the ghoul. I can try and hit the ghoul so it grants CAdv to Castile but I'd prefer to keep whittling away at the caster, and as she is now hiding it makes positioning a little trickier.

Takahaan dives back, narrowly missing the stream of fluid that the witch ejected upon being injured. With renewed vigor, he rushes forward yet another time, crashing into her with the full force of his massive body, leaving her on the ground. "I could use some help over here! Release the Captain from that shell quickly and get your hides on this witch! She's playing with our damn heads."
