@Aust Thale, I might add another post for your PC sometime this week. I'm going to move him on from the ruined temple to the geyser the other PCs already passed. If they choose to have their characters stay at the oasis in the gulch, then he might catche up to them there.

Do you have his PC sheet finished?

I'm hoping to add a reply before the end of the weekend. Today has been rough. I had a really bad headache earlier. It was likely a combination of the heat and having to have our windows all shut do to the haze/smoke outside. My damn noisy neighbours didn't help matters either.

I had to take migraine Tylenol (with tons of water) and lie down for several hours. Drinking tons of water right now to deal with the heat. I can't do anything about my stuffy apartment until the haziness goes away late tomorrow, hopefully. 🤞

I still don't know if we're doing the polymorph thing. It has to be Angus we polymorph because he's too big to ride on a griffon....so he has to BE the griffon. two people riding the griffon. (probably Aureas and Phar since we're the lightest)

Cearth can shape shift and fly, so we don't need to ferry him.

That's 4 people travelling at the same time. Unfortunately, I think there's 6 of us so it's way too dangerous to leave two people behind. But Phar can also cast fly twice. That's the whole party and only uses 3 utility spells.

So, after all that said, we might have to deal with the people who are potentially trying to ambush us. I totally regret not taking teleport now.

Anyways, no polymorphing until we deal with the people but I'd love some feedback on this idea.

I would say no, we're losing horses that way...and we may need them

Since we're aware of "the ambush" we don't need to worry too much. We're ready. I would try diplomacy - or intimidation - rather than fighting. (but obviously, not Maur :) - he would just kill them all and be done with it)
