Looking for a standard 3.5 games

Alright, ManicFuel's on the first list of alternates.

I should note that I'll be structuring at least the first part of the game around your characters -- so if you have anything specific you'd like to pursue, feel free to mention it.

Voadam:

Your character looks okay, but here's a quick list of errors/formatting problems I ran into:

- I'd prefer if Dex 18 (20) read as Dex 20 (16 base, +2 level, +2 enh)... It's just easier for me to use that way. Also, I tend to prefer the standard order (Str/Dex/Con/Int/Wis/Cha), although looking back at the template I think that was my gaff :)

- Base melee should be the bonuses you'd have with, say, a club you picked up off of an enemy -- straight BAB + Str. The attack bonuses for the rapier/dagger combo should be in the weapon section.

- Your initiative bonus should be +9, not +6.

- Your cloak of resistance is marked on the equipment section as +2, although it's clear from the price and the bonus you have marked elsewhere that it's since been downgraded to a +1.

Those changes notwithstanding, you can consider the character approved.

Lazarus: Consider yourself waitlisted.

Jemal: Leadership is just fine.

I'll be checking on the posted characters now, will post approvals shortly...

(Edit: Shortly after...)

DarkMaster: First thing that stands out is that the stats are off -- remember, it's 32 point-buy, not 4d6 drop. Everything else looks right over a glance. Once the stats are fixed, I'll review and approve, as they're going to change a lot of stuff on their own... Also, anarchists rock! :D I anticipate some fun discussions with Jaros...

Zerth: Joseph looks pretty close to perfect, but re: Improved TWF, doesn't it only give you one extra attack with your off-hand? (Making it +14/+9 with your offhand, not +14/+9/+9...) If I overlooked something, let me know.

Either way works for me, really, though I assume you'd prefer to do the designing... Standard rules for creation (use NPC table for wealth), and let's say 26 point-buy for stats. Same equipment restrictions as for PCs (one personalized item of between 1/3-2/3 his/her starting wealth, and no other item worth more than 1/3 of said starting wealth.) Include a brief description of their role within the city as well (this can be as simple as one line in your own character's bio, but it should be present somewhere.)

Note that I don't follow the rules for cohort XP as given (they're a bit vague, and kind of a pain)... Whenever XP is awarded, you can split it up however you like between your main character and the cohort (so long as the cohort doesn't end up exceeding the maximum level your Leadership score allows). For bookkeeping practices, give them whatever XP they'd have at the level you take the leadership feat, and then you may buff them a little with the 5000 XP above level ten that everyone has to work with.

Generally cohorts work out to be a pretty big XP hindrance; I should mention, though, that I award uneven XP, and having a cohort does give you some more RP options... So if you're ready to make the extra RP commitment, you shouldn't fall behind the rest of the group too much.

You're right, I knew there had to be something. I'll go and fix it.
