I'm hoping to get into Doc's kung fu goodness game. You can take me off the Godlike List if it will help Umbran.

Course I am kinda a sucker for superheroes...

I think there's still space in Umbran's Godlike game! I was just thinking of you today. Heck, you work about two blocks from my house. :)

I'm running monthly d20 games at Pandemonium in Harvard Square, incidentally; this month was Spycraft, next month is Call of Cthulhu, and I have MnM and d20 Modern coming up. If you want advance of warning of them, give me a holler.

Looks like I'm in the wildcard spot for Umbran's game until (heh heh) somebody finds they suddenly can't make it due to strange and unaccounted-for pains wracking their whole body at the mere thought of the game.

Yeah--keep me posted. Since my wife is working on a PhD I find most nights I end up playing stay-at-home dad, but I would love to get into a game if it corresponds to a night off.

Edited: Looks like it worked. Wee Jas says it's out of consideration for Umbran, but we all know it was my curse...working...retroactively...yeah...

Now that the date is final, I can tell you that I don't think I'll be able to play. 6pm is the earliest I would be able to be there on the 11th (I was hoping for the 12th).

I may try to stop by anyway to watch from the bleachers.

Conaill, 3 pm works much better for me than morning does. I hope that's okay.

Since Maverick Wierdo unfortunately can't make it - next one! - it looks like we're right on the cusp of three games. If more people (Baron Von Starblade! That'd be so cool) come, then we'll need either a cancellation or enough extra folks to fill a 4th game (ie, 3-4 more.) People can swing by and watch if they want, but I'm not sure how interesting that will be. Watching D&D is booo-ring. :D

I have to disagree with you P-kitty... Watching DnD is .. SCARY!

Ever walked into a game store and listened to other gamers play and wonder.. Oh God.. Do I sound like that?!

Then they come over to talk to you and you can't help but look at your feet and shuffle a bit... Gah.. after 20 years of DnD you'd think I'd get used to it.

Saw the question mark next to my name so let me dispel the myths and the wild stories that have been in the tabloids and those so-called "entertainment news" programs. Despite any other contractual or personal obligations, I will be at the Enboards Boston game day! My SO is interested in attending but I told her it would be up to the hosts whether observers were allowed (though if you need another gamer for one of the other games she would be interested). Saturday is fine, 3PM is fine, pizza is fine (what part of Boston will we be in? Is the pizza significantly better than most Boston pizza?), I'm fine, how are you? Remember, there are no small roles, only small dice. I'll play whatever character Dr Midnight sees fit to grace me with. I am not familiar with the Feng Shui system (though the genre is certainly near and dear), but I read fast and learn games faster.

I may start an OT thread about my pizza theory, that pizza gets worse the farther you get from certain key "Pizza Nexi" and that these Nexi are:

Brooklyn, NY
New Haven, CT
Chicago IL

There are also "Anti-pizza Nexi" These were proven to be more than theoretical possibilities when I spent some time in Montreal, which I discovered actually was one of these Anti-pizza Nexi. Despite its relative proximity to Brooklyn and Chicago, its pizza was at least as bad as pizza in Miami, which is a considerable distance from any known Pizza Nexi. Please do not ask me to recount how awful the pizza in Santiago,Chile or Vancouver, BC is, the memories are way too painful.

Larry, i'm glad you're coming! Where are you coming from?

I'm actually in Newton Center, not Boston, about a 2 minute walk from the T and more-or-less conveniently located off between Rt 9, Rt 30 and the Mass Pike. I'll send out directions when we get closer. And you'll be pleased to know that there's a good pizza place right across the street!

I don't care about observers, but I'm not GMing. I'll let our judges weigh in on this. It's easy for a bored observer to scoot into Boston for a few hours, at least. :)

Looks like it's already full with seven people, unless someone cancels.

And wow! I met nopantsyet this weekend! And thank God - he had on pants. Phew.

[highjack] Not true at all, the best pizza i've ever had comes from a place called Chessman's in Bridgewater MA. If any of you ever have the oppertunity to try them don't pass it up.:D [/Highjack]
