Prof. Emeritus-Supernatural Events/Countermeasure
Though Harrison is happy to see the expetise of the 'lock smith' being plyed, he is fighting off boredome none the less from having all of this excess time. Ah well, such is the life of a soldier.

Logan, seeing Harrison's boredom, says, "Hey, warrior, how's 'bout a game of rock, paper, scissors?" :D

Jillian finds the locks and poison needle traps become increasingly complex, but none is too difficult for her to overcome with a little time and care. The chests hold a massive wealth of gems--at least 10,000 and none appears to be worth less than 50 gp. A quick bit of mathematical calculation produces a number somewhere in excess of half a million gold pieces for this hoard.

[sblock=Grackle and Logan]The gnome and the Cleric spot these new shinys and then note the illusion on them. These are simple pebbles of quartz flint worth at most a copper piece each.[/sblock]

Logan laughs at the sight of the chest full of worthless trinkets. "Good job, Jillian! You've discovered a cache of worthless glass that we can pass out to our hordes of camp followers and groupies." ;)

"well, that chest chooses Rocks, like lots and lots of priceless rocks of serious treasure!!!"
"Better look again, Harrison, it's an illusion. After all we've been through in this place, why would we suddenly find a box containing a king's ransom in gems just lying about unguarded?"

GM: Who said it was unguarded? There is still the urn and sarcophagus in this room and the keyhole in the new room. What's next?

"Awwww, shinies not real.........like Uncle Gibber's fake shinies. Uncle Gibber gives the worst birthday presents. Grackle already had enough rocks on his floor," the gnome laments, looking at the shinies Jillian revealed.

"Grackle always gave him bugs for birthdays. Grackle's nicer. Bugs're tasty 'n' better than rocks."

GM: So Zorn, gonna try the key with Mage Hand, or would you all rather try something else? There are still one or two rooms you bypassed. It got rather quiet, but I am now back to posting regularly should you choose an action.
