I am not sure that oversized weapons actually get extra damage dice, or any extra damage at all for that matter beyond the bonus while raging. I was looking at this specific issue just the other day because I was trying to make a halfling titan mauler barbarian who used a slingstaff (because that would be hilarious at high levels). Even if you look at just the giant and ogre entries in the bestiary the rules they use seem to be wildly inconsistent. Some get more dice for non-magical weapons of larger size, some do not. All of the magic weapons seem to only do as much damage as a medium sized magic weapon. But the non-magic weapons are super confusing.

Yeah, I looked and apparently weapon damage does not vary by size. But then you look in the bestiary and giants are doing 2d12 with greatswords. <shrug>

Advancement

I've added a few notes.

It amazes me how many people increment their skill mods by 1 because they think trained is +1, forgetting that's after you include level, and then they add their level again. (Many people did it, not just you Vlad.)

I've added a few notes.
STR 12 +1, DEX 11 +0, CON 12 +1
INT 6 +0, WIS 13 +1, CHA 10 +0

My reading of this was base ability as PC so all 10 then the modifiers as stated on pg. 284. Now looking at it I confused modifiers with scores. I'll fix everything.

Adventurer
ah man, I want to play in the group with the honey badger! I contemplated taking Nature, Goblin Rough Rider feat....maybe next time ( Goblin Barbarian or Druid, with a mount?)

Confused here too Kaodi - I went with the wording on the giant totem to mean that I gained a weapon like one used by a large creature. In the Bestiary the weapons seem inconsistent (why wouldn't they just do one more damage die??) and are all over the place.

My under standing that gaining access to one of these weapons (most likely a non-magical version) means it uses the same listing. As this is a playtest I'm sure it was on of the things they might want to look into and fix.

Does anyone think a weapon built for a Large creature means one of the weapons listed for a creature with the Large trait in the Bestiary??

Wish they had an example lying around - or like a chart they use to have in 3e D&D - I played with an over-sized maul (warhammer) back in those days, it was ouchy. LOL
