MnM3 Centropolis (Re-bot)

Well you wound not get the extra damage without breaking it as it is purchased with Equipment points correct? IF it is a gadget then you could go over But again you would be breaking the PL limit so yes with +9 to attack the best Damage you can deal is +9
So the staff is just fluff at this point? Yes, I bought it with equipment points.

So we have 4 players just about ready... if everyone is done I will shot for Monday to re-start the game.

I have a couple of idea but maybe get a feeling for what you all would enjoy the most...

Menace Out of Time: after a string of what seem like unrelated High Crimes, the heroes must deal with attacks from beings from random times, both Past and Future!!!
Dawn of DNA: there is a new drug in town and a new villainous group with plans on expanding it world-wide!!! This drug is not only highly addictive but makes the users highly subject to suggestion and manipulation.
Death Duel with the Destroyers: a madman is demanding that the US grant him exclusive control of all the Unobtanium mines around Centropolis. To prove himself he is daring the heroes to stop his minions who are on their way to Centropolis... to destroy it!
FORCE: terrorist have stolen a bioweapon and they are ransoming the US government for a billion dollars to not release it. The only man who knows anything about them just showed up on the heroes doorstop where he dies in their arms after uttering a single word...
I can see Shadow dealing with the drug one back in Red Haven. Can't imagine he has finished thumbing his nose at the Medveds and Yellow Hands just because he's in the Tower.

As I understand it, Equipment are basically just powers that have a lot of innate limitations on them (Removable, and a sort of 'equipment' limit that stops them from stacking with other powers and makes them destroyable and have all the other limits that equipment has).

So if you have a melee Damage power, you can say 'this is a staff' and boom...it's a staff. Your Equipment staff is effectively a separate power.

You may want to use your Equipment on other things. :)

Okay. I will look into reallocating the equipment points. Could keep the points and dump it into his costume protection.

Yar. I took some protection on my costume because Kitsune's protection power is in an array...and because there are powers that can nullify powers.

One advantage of Equipment is that it's assumed to have the Innate property. It can't be Nullified. So it's a cheap backup for the paranoid superhero. :)
 

Yes the staff is just fluff but you could also use the 2 ep to add +1 to Reach and spend the other ep some a radio or comlink Y

Yes you could put it in Protection so long as you dont exceed the PL limit

My character (probably most) would be more easily motivated to get involved with an outright invasion. It's the kind of thing he could hear about on the news and just show up to. And he might think it is involved in his back story of "something evil is coming".
