With both Mhytres equally dazed, switching targets serves no purpose. Merin and Tor continue to engage their respective opponents.

Tor's tactic this round: Another shield bash, augmented (using Way) to drain the heat from the Mhytre's body when the shield makes contact (FROST.)

Merin's tactic this round: Use the Phoenix Feather to augment a fire-based, Way attack. (ENFLAME)

Day 122: Secondary Reactions, Part 4

The Mhytre tries to shake off the fuzziness and defend himself
OOC: Reaction: 177 - 40 - 40(dazed) = 97

Clearing his head somewhat before Tor's second shield bash, the Mhytre swings his hammer laterally trying to hit Tor's knee.
OOC: Lethal Attack: 53 + 49 + 52 + 94 - 40(dazed) = 208
Defend: 41 + 32 + 53 + 84 = 210

Tor shifts his shield instinctively, foiling the Mhytre's attack.
OOC: Non-Lethal Attack: 47 + 45 + 60 + 62 = 214
Defend: 48 + 28 + 50 + 61 - 40(dazed) = 147
Effectiveness: 214 - 147 = 67
Damage: 67% * 19 = 13 - 8(soak) = 5
Mind: 6 - 5 = 1: dazed

Tor rotates his elbow as he blocks slamming the shield back into the Mhytre for a second time simultaneously causing the heat to leave the Mhytre's body.

When its Saemund's turn he will make another attempt to induce fear in one of the Mhytre. He will target the next closest Mhytre. If it works he will attack one of the men hurting Turtle. If he doesn't work he will attempt to severe the leg of the intended target.

Feroz will circle and attack one of the other Mhytres currently engaged with one of the SouthRoad Seekers.

GM: Feroz has already acted this sequence. I will save this intention for next action.

If the Mhytre close to San-Bolo and Turtle is still up when it is his turn Sannit intends to stab him with his spear, aiming to drive him away from the wounded bear. If that Myhtre is down but combat is still going, Sannit intends to take up a defensive posture to protect Bolo and Turtle.

Bolo intends to go to Turtle's side, ready to use Way to heal him.

GM: I will save these intentions if tertiary actions become necessary.

Day 122: Secondary Reactions, Part 5

Sheldon who had been moving toward Turtle to go to his aid, draws upon an ingot of tin to enhance his attempt to draw away one of the attackers.
GM:

The Mhytre to Turtle's right steps back from stabbing the bear to assess his surroundings.

Persona: 10 - 7 = 3

Sheldon's efforts still prove to be ineffective.

GM: Indigo moves to her left when the fleeing burro clears to engage the other Mhytre.

The Mhytre regains his composure from losing the burro and draws his hammer.
OOC: Reaction: 177 - 80 = 97

OOC: Lethal Attack: 53 + 64 + 55 + 91 = 263
Defend: 48 + 28 + 50 = 126
Effectiveness: 263 - 126 = 137
Damage: 137% * 22 = 30 - 8(soak) = 22

The Mhytre is much too slow. Indigo backswings her left saber, easily avoiding the metal plates and cutting through the leather covering with a near fatal slice.

GM: The very instant Saemund would compel the Mhytre in front of him and Tor, Tor successfully bashes him a second time with his shield. Knowing this will alter his ability to affect his mind and being unable to reach Turtle, Saemund pulls his faster carving axe swinging it at the dazed Mhytre's left leg
OOC: Lethal Attack: 47 + 47 + 60 + 60 = 214
Defend: 48 + 28 + 50 - 90(dazed) = 36
Effectiveness: 214 - 36 = 178
Damage: 178% * 15 = 27 - 8(soak) = 19
Body: 10 - 19 = -9: incapacitated
Mind: 1 - 9 = -8: unconscious
Essence: 10 - 8 = 2: still alive

Easily avoiding the metal plate on the Myhtre's thigh, Saemund severs deeply into the leg ending the Mhytre.
 

Day 122: Secondary Reactions, Part 7

Vadin while on one knee will attempt to strike the legs of the nearest Mhytre. Hoping to do some damage, or perhaps trip him up.
GM:

The Mhytre standing over Vadin's kneeling form punches at him with his hammer, again.
OOC: Reaction: 177 - 40 = 137

Vadin is unable to clear his head fast enough to attack the Mhytre
OOC: Non-Lethal Attack: 53 + 49 + 52 + 53 = 207
Defend: 40 + 29 + 47 + 97 = 213

Having his sword in hand, though, he blocks the lazy attack of the Mhytre stabbing back at his leg as he does.
OOC: Lethal Attack: 39 + 57 + 48 + 93 + 72(luck) = 309
Defend: 48 + 28 + 50 + 73 = 199
Effectiveness: 309 - 199 = 110
Damage: 110% * 30 = 33 - 8(soak) = 25
Body: 10 - 25 = -15: incapacitated
Mind: 10 - 15 = -5: unconscious
Essence: 10 - 5 = 5: still alive

With a fantastic bit of luck, Vadin not only blocks the Mhytre's hammer but stabs his own sword into the femoral artery, instantly dropping his opponent.

Day 122: Secondary Reactions, Part 8

GM: The Mhytre who dropped Turtle steps back to assess his situation, his spike is in his left hand his hammer is in his right. At that exact instant he is blindsided by Myth who had gone around to come up the ledge from behind the cave opening. The lynx launches himself at the back of the standing Mhytre hoping to clamp his jaws on his head.
OOC: Lethal Attack: 33 + 30 + 74 = 137
Defend: surprised, no defense
Damage: 137% * 6 = 8 + 137% * 5 x 2 = 22
Body: 10 - 22 = -12: incapacitated
Mind: 10 - 12 = -2: unconscious
Essence: 10 - 2 = 8: still alive

Myth sinks his claws into the subclavicle as he claps down on the Mhytre's skull, nearly crushing it.
 

Day 122: Assessing the Aftermath

GM: Though not all are dead, most of the downed Mhytre's are dying, only 1 is conscious. The only on remaining one on his feet is the one that Feroz had clawed across the face. He realizes the ultimate finality of his situation and begins backing away. It is obvious he intends to turn and run. A mere twitch of Saemund's fingers could bring Feroz falling from the sky to hit him again without anyone else having to move or say a word.

Of the party, Vadin is dazed and Turtle is down, both of which can readily be tended.

OOC: Vadin: Mind = 2
Turtle: Body = -1, Mind = 9
