Charles Dunwoody started playing and running RPGs with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (before it was first edition) and is currently GMing Forbidden Lands. He wrote a few articles for Dragon Magazine when it was in print, wrote a bit more for Mongoose’s electronic Signs & Portents, and was paid for a supplement for Bulldogs! He also camps year round, backpacks, and canoes when not reading and writing. Charles is a participant in the OneBookShelf Affiliate Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to DriveThruRPG.

Created by Hankerin Ferinale of Drunkens & Dragons on YouTube, The Index Card RPG (or ICRPG) started as an experiment in using index card sized illustrations in place of square by square combats. I interviewed Hankerin at Gen Con to discuss how he became a full-time creator and his future plans. Included below are two not-yet-announced products he revealed to me.

Stewart Wieck was the sponsor and publisher of this newest version. The game will be full color and available in five games systems: the original rules, D&D 5E, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, and Open D6. Mr. Wieck worked hard to bring visionary RPGs to gamers everywhere and he will be missed. I am sorry for his family’s loss.
