Nothing more is heard, but as Grotzkoshter lowers his keg and the basket to the floor and readies his own weapon, Karl draws his short sword and pads down the long hall, trying to use the pillars as cover. Talgren is left to stand stupidly by the wall, his mouth agape at Karl and Grotz, and his eyes darting left and right as he tries to figure out from where the sound heard by Elyan issues. Just as Karl reaches the last pillar and determines that the double set of doors at the end are not quite closed all the way to, Kaeleen, Karl, and Grotz all three spy a goblin streak from behind the farthest pillar opposite Karl at the end of the hall and squeeze through the doors. Karl tries to grab the little bugger but the thing is too quick by a long shot. The door is left ajar after the goblin's egress, and Karl overhears the burble of many gutteral voices, some of high-pitched quality and others of deeper resonation.
Talgren hisses at Grotz, "You there, half-orc, what's down there?!" Stripped of its former haughty arrogance, the lad's voice is laden with a dose of fear.
Moved everyone up just a tad on the map.
