Pathfinder 2E [IC] JM's "Doomsday Dawn" Playtest Party#1 Chapter#1

OOC: Sorry, my question was that I could take a Step back as I still have 15ft of my total 25ft left. You can Stride up to 25ft you don't have to use all of it when you Stride do you? If you do then Jericho did not step back

OOC: There is no "using" pieces of your movement. It's an Action to Stride up to your speed. It's also an Action to Step. There's nothing left over when you're done. BTW, JM, can Hiromi use her "Nimble Dodge" to make her AC 18 and jump out of the way of that attack? I'm pretty sure she can.

OOC: I think you have to declare Nimble Dodge before the attack roll is made? I am not sure it would ever make sense to save to for the 2nd attack (the one that hit Hiromi), which generally has a much worse chance of hitting to begin with, not to mention you can never be sure there will be a 2nd attack.

OOC: If that's the case, then they might as well just say "you get +2 to AC vs the first attack made against you each round" or something similar. At any rate, declaring after I'm attacked but before I know the result of the roll is impossible to do in PBP. I guess JM will just have to assume that Hiromi has an 18 AC against the first attack each round and only 16 against the others.

OOC: That's kind of how I have to do it in PBP. It would be too slow to post each enemy's action and ask "Any one taking a reaction?" in PBP. And logically, why wouldn't you do it for the more likely attack?
